No Time at All

I had planned for a slow launch of this website, giving myself time to write a collection of posts before publicizing it. I was surprised this morning when I received an email comment in my mailbox. At first, I read “EV has posted a link to your blog…” and I was thinking, “I wonder who EV is and how this person found out about my blog.” Guess my mind just didn’t catch the acronym, and was really surprised to find that Emergent Village had posted a link to my blog, however much in seriousness or jest it was. I do welcome any new readers that may stop by in the next few days because of this, and I want you to know that I plan on posting regular entries. Thanks again for the publicity!

    Hey Chris,

    While the tone of my post was a little cheeky (I just find all the mashups with the word “Emergent” a little funny), I personally think the Reformed/Emergent dialogue is an important one. Thanks for diving into the fray!

    BTW — For those of us who don’t know you, can you share a little bit more about yourself? Who you are, what your background is, etc.?

    I followed the link from Emergent Village here and was happy to find this place. Having just returned to a reform tradition church after years in a baptist one, and recently discovering Emergent, I’m very interested to hear what you have to say.
